An Update....

This is going to be a random post about a bunch of different things going on at our house, updates on the kids, our family, my running, and everything else that goes on at our crazy and fun house....
- Fall is here!!!! We love the fall time at our house! Our favorite thing to do is go to the apple orchards and get cider and donuts. We found a neat place down the street from us called the Country Basket. They have tons of stuff to do for the kids... and even cow rides on the weekends... My kids love it. They also have awesome out of this world pumpkin spice donuts with cream cheese frosting which is Mom's favorite!
- For those of you who don't know about 2 weeks ago I hit a deer. I just now realized I never posted it on our blog, so I just thought I would share. Obviously, I am fine and we just got our car back this past Wednesday night and after about 1000 dollars worth of work the car is fine as well! The deer however is not fine.... he was smashed into venison patties all over 196 heading Eastbound between the Grandville and Market Exit.
- My photography business is going really well. Fall is pretty much booked for the month of October with only a few appointments open so that is super encouraging.
- I am going to be running another 5K race this upcoming weekend. Yes, I am crazy! I want to train for a marathon eventually and possibly have 3-4 friends that are willing to run the Disney Marathon in 2010 with me. (I actually just want to go back to Disney and I figure this is probably the only way I can talk Micah into taking me! hahaha)
- Hailey loving school and is doing fantastic! Her teacher's aide said she is a wonderful friend to all the kids in class. On the second day of school a little girl named Lucy was crying because she missed her mom. The teacher told me Hailey went up to her and gave her a hug and asked her to come sit by her. The next week the teacher told me Hailey and Lucy are inseparable at school and that Hailey is a really good friend to her. Hailey also has a little crush on a boy Owen in her class! She talks about him quite a bit these days! She has her first big field trip this coming week to Post Family Farms. I am going along as a parent aide so that should be fun. I am excited to meet some of these kids that she talks about so much.
- Hailey is also taking Ballet at the Grand Rapids Ballet Company's Dance School. She is doing really well. She attends twice a week and truly loves it. The first day of Ballet we got her all in her costume and she took one look at herself and said... "Hehehe mom, I am so cute!" You can watch a video of her at dance class below! It is pretty cute! I take her on Tuesday's and Micah takes her on Saturdays!

- Sophia is talking a ton. She has acquired a bunch of new words lately. She is talking up a storm. Right now she is really into Ballet because we go watch Hailey. She loves Angelina Ballerina on TV and has been running around the house saying Tendu (tohn-dew for those of you who know nothing about Ballet, hahahah Don't worry, I am still learning and I had to look this up to spell it!!!) She is a great big sister to Dylan and loves waking him up from his naps right now before it is time to wake him up! (which mommy doesn't like so much!). She is also at a stage right now where she loves to be asked to help! She gets so excited when I ask her to help me get a diaper or get the wipes for me. She will even bite and hit Hailey if Hailey tries to do it for her. - Dylan is still not walking, but that is OK. We have decided that since his head is so big that he will probably take awhile before we can balance with that thing on his shoulders. He is super super cute and he is usually smiling lately. He is super active now and is all over the place getting into trouble. The other day he went into my bathroom and unloaded all the toilet paper rolls out and threw the entire rolls into the toilet ruining about 5 rolls before I caught him in action. He cracks me up. He is a total mama's boy! He has four very distinct words as well. He can say Mama, Papa, Doggy, Nana, and can make the Woo Woo sound (which is the noise a doggy makes!). - Micah recently shaved his beard. He looks really young again and not so much like an Appalachian man. He says he is going to grow it back out again but more of a goatee/moustache style. Work for him is going really good, they are almost back to normal hours. (Which his wife is super glad about! :) ) - We have had a crazy month of babies. Three of our friends have all had babies in the last month or so. I have the privilege of photographing all three of them. Here is a picture of each of them....

You can check out my photography web page for more pictures from each of their photo shoots if you want.... http://staceyclackphotography.blogspot.com/ We feel so blessed to be part of each of their new little lives!

- This is a fun video that I took at 7 am the other day... yes this is how my kids get up... and yes this is a t 7 am... I promise! I redcorded this while laying in my bed on my cell phone. You can tell by the PJ's that it is AM and by the Flash light that it is still DARK outside!! I don't know how anyone person wakes up with this type of energy... see what I deal with everyday!

Hahaha I love these kids!!!!

Well, that is probably enough for tonight. We are going to a super fun barn party at a friends tomorrow night so I will post pictures of that very soon! I need to start going to be earlier... It is after midnight already! Arugh! Anyway, I hope you enjoyed catching up on our lives right now. The videos I took with my phone, let me know what you think by leaving a comment and I will keep posting them if you like seeing them! Hope you are all having a fantastic day! Good night and God Bless from the Clack House!

If Dylan wasn't contained, you would have all 3 of them running around at 7:00 am! :) No matter how late you put kids to bed, they are ALWAYS up early! What happened to the good old days of sleeping in????

It's awesome to get an update on everything! I loved Hailey's dance video - Stacey, I think you should take a ballet class too!! Actually, the marathon idea is CRAZY and I can't believe you are actually considering it!!! It seems like we only chat in passing, maybe we can get together soon!

Hailey Marie, you are the most beautiful ballerina I have ever seen, and I am so glad that you and Sophia Grace have so much energy even if it is at seven o'clock in the morning because that is one of the things that your Nana Youngs loves about you.

Love, Nana Youngs

What a fun update!! I'm glad the Clack Family is thriving! I'm sorry the kids are up and so vibrant at 7am, but that was a pretty funny video! :)
