Save the Ta Ta's....

So I have made a decision to get into shape. I am back to running again. In the last 8 days I have ran 12.3 miles! I decided to run in the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure for Breast Cancer with some friends and that was the spark I needed. I ran 2 the week before the race... I know.....that is true procrastination and then I ran the actual race. I ran the race (3.1 Miles) in 31 Minutes! Which I guess is pretty decent for not running much plus it was a shotgun start and we were at the back of all the 1000 runners (hahahah I am truly giving myself any little perk points I can! :)) Anyway, so then last night I went out and ran another 3 miles. I am going to be running another race, the David D Hunting Race on the 11th of October with a bunch of the same girls from church and a few new ones.... Yea Cheryl!!! I am super excited and hope to be running the 10 K if not the 25K in the River Bank Run this spring. Then if I can build up my endurance with out feeling like I am going to die or that my chest is going to cave in I would like to run a marathon... Yes, 26.2 miles.... INSANE but it has been on my life list of things that I want to do before I die. I have decided that my marathon (my first one... hahahaha as if after I run one, I will want to actually want to run another) will be the Disney Marathon... I hope hoping my husband will reward all my hard work with maybe a day at the park for the whole family :) But anyway, first things first... I have another 5K to tackle and then we will see where it takes me from there.
