So, I haven't updated the blog yet at all this week because Micah has been admitted to the hospital for Pancreatitis. He has an infection in his pancreas. They aren't sure how or where it came from. They are running a bunch of tests! CAT scans, Ultrasounds, blood work. He was admitted Monday morning after he went to his doctor with severe abdominal pain. He hasn't been able to eat at all the last two days they have just been pumping him full of fluids (Dr's Orders). Tonight they actually gave him some chicken broth and other clear liquids which they say is a good sign.
He is on lots of pain meds which actually makes him quite funny at times! Tonight I was talking to him about what his doctor said and he out of no where said "Well, you have to make sure you put it in good soil first" to which he then said "What in the world, what are we talking about, I think I just told you to check the soil first, what are we talking about again?" Needless to say the last 2 days have been a TRIP for him! We are hoping that if his levels are down low enough tomorrow that they will be able to reintroduce some foods in small amounts. He isn't allowed to eat right now so that his pancreas can heal. The nurse said if they introduce the foods tomorrow that they will still probably monitor him for at least 24 hours and start getting him off the strong pain meds and down to something that he can be on at home. Which puts him at coming home oh Thursday at the earliest! Please say a little pray that our "papa" can come home soon. The kids really miss him (me too). Bedtime took 1.5 hours tonight from start to finish because the girls were crying for Papa!
Other than bed time the kids and I are doing really well. I am trying to keep things together and very normal even though papa is sick and not home. Just pray for patience for me!! (I also have/had 8 photo shoots this week) I will try to update the blog again tomorrow on his condition! Thanks for all your support and prayers!

Oh, "Papa."
You guys are in our prayers. What a LOT to deal with right now. Micah, we hope you QUICKLY return to health so that you can start planting in the good soil. That actually made me laugh out loud. Sorry that it was at your expense. Please keep us posted on the progress.
I'm sorry to hear this, Stacey. Let me know if you need some help with the kiddos. I'd be happy to help out if you need it. :)
