So our day today was fantastic! For those of you who love Sophia stories, I have a pretty good one. In the pictures that Micah posted in the post right below this we had just walked down to a park down the street to let the kids play. After spending some time on the swings we decided to look for shells on the bay side of the island right behind where we were playing. Sophia, who like my husband said has acquired more words while we have been down here, LOVES to collect sea shells. WELL, on our way down to the beach Sophia picked up what she thought was a Sea Shell however much to her surprise and ours it was Dog Poop! So picutre our sweet spicy and spunky little Sophia standing there holding THEE largest hunk of dog crap I have ever seen in her little hand yelling PAPA SEA SHELL, PAPA SEA SHELL.... Oh, poor little Sophia. Micah washed her hand off in the bay and sent her on her way... I am sure a few of my friends are cringing at that thought! What can I say, I didn't have Purell on me.
Tonight we went mini golfing with the kids. We also drove up the island to see what was on the north end. All in all we had another great day! And we can't forget to mention, Hailey got a HOLE IN ONE!!!!!!! She totally showed these older guys in front of us how it was done! They were all cheering for her! She was pretty proud of that!
Here are a few pictures for our mini golf outing today. Tomorrow we are driving in the morning over to a Bank that some of the locals told us about that has a part of the bay behind it that Manatees hang out in. We will take lots of pictures.
Oh yeah and I forgot. Last night those same locals were catching crab for fishing with and they let me scoop some up with their net. It was a ton of fun. They go out to the pier once it gets dark every night to catch bait for the next day. Hailey had fun watching all the people catching crabs and small fish. She even touched a few fish. :)
Probably one of the only family pics we will have from the trip with the whole family! Mom forgot the tripod!! DUH!

I love the family pic!! Sophia stories are awesome!! I have one of Conner from just a minute ago. He went into the bathroom to pee and came out without his pants on. He grabbed his hoppity ball and climbed on it, squealing "It's cold!" and then hopped around the room laughing soooooo hard! I wish I had a video camera for that one!!
Family pictures were wonderful, Sophia you are going to be the child that is going to make your family last forever as Jeff is in our family. Precious beyond words. Love to all,
