The drive down...
WE MADE IT! .... we got here last night (Friday) at about 9:45pm. The kids did AWESOME, until, we got stuck in a DEAD (and I mean dead, standstill, not moving at all) stop traffic jam just past OCALA for 3 (yes three FULL Hours... no exaggeration) hours with out water for a bottle. . That was THEE most stressful time. Dylan screamed the whole entire time!!! Everyone was standing outside of their cars and peeing in the woods... it was insane! I bet Hailey probably saw like 15 grown men walking to the woods to piss!! hahahaha! Dylan was due for a bottle right as we were stuck... we had just discussed stopping at the next rest stop for water to make him a bottle.... so he had TWO bottles of hi-c orange drink because that was all we had... it was either that or Coke. It was horrible. We sat in DEAD traffic for three hours and watched cop cars blowing by us... it was insane. After 3 hours we finally started moving VERY SLOWLY and when we got up to the accident which was 5 miles in front of us (you can imagine how far back it must have been after three hours.... I wouldn't doubt it if it was backed up to Georgia. Anyway, when we got up there there was a Semi that was totally burned and black... it was cut in half and spread on both sides of the high way. Micah and I then realized we probably should have been praying for the person who was in the accident instead of Micah making threats to beat whoever it was up if it wasn't for a good reason!!! hahahahah! Anyway, we are here, it is paradise! We will post pics on a blog spot later today or tomorrow probably! The kids are loving it and swimming as I type this... since it is 94 degrees!!!! Loving it! Our place is beautiful!!! I am going swimming with the kids! Hugs to all of you from Sunny Florida!!! We will hopefully post pics on a blog later today or tomorrow!

OMG!! You guys make me laugh so hard. I can just imagine the car ride down, Dylan crying, the girls saying "are we there yet" and Micah pulling his hair out. Glad to hear you guys made it down there safe. I love the pictures of the kids. Have a good vacation!!

Hey...what about the bed and breakfast that you crashed on Friday night? Where is the mention of that 5-Star stop? We don't think your story is complete without reference to that highlight!
I actually never pulled my hair. I take medication...remember! hehehehe
I love the picture of Micah sitting on the beach with one of the kids, it is a very small picture and I cannot find a bigger picture of it on your site. Is there anyway to make that picture larger. It is a wonderful way to share your vacation with me, I am enjoying all the photographs plus this way I won't take time away from your family time by talking on the telephone with you all-day, not that I will be calling again by the end of the week.
